2. If excessive debris, leaves and water are present on the pool cover at time of pool opening technician arrival, additional charges will apply and may delay the pool opening from the originally scheduled date.
3. Any cover repairs needed, or if a replacement is needed, will be communicated in writing via email during opening so a plan to perform the repairs or acquire a new cover can be executed during swim season to ensure a proper and safe cover is available at the time the pool is closed at the end of the season.
4. The pool cover will be folded and stowed as part of the Pool Opening Service. If further cleaning of the cover is desired (scrubbing or power washing), we recommend the Spring Cleanup Service.
5. Any equipment found to be damaged, inoperable or malfunctioning will be reported in writing via email with an estimated cost for repair and/or replacement & installation. The Pool Opening will commence once any repairs/replacements required have been executed and all equipment is fully operational.
6. Application of chemicals for LSI Balance ensures pool water is neither corrosive nor scale forming at the beginning of the pool season.
Pricing:
Pool Openings start at $350
Cost varies depending on the size of the pool and the complexity of the equipment
Cost Saving Tips
To get the most from your pool opening service, there are several things you can do to help our technicians prior to arrival.Ensure that all electrical power and domestic water to the equipment area is turned on and functional
Remove all debris, leaves and water from the pool cover
Bring pool water up to the middle of the skimmer mouth or midway up the tile line prior to OS360 Crew arrival
Verify that all equipment like drain plugs and strainer baskets are readily available at the pool location
Pool Condition:
Some pools may require extensive cleaning prior to opening.
For pools that are cloudy or green, or for pools with excessive amounts of algae or leaves, we recommend the Spring Cleanup Service.
For pools that are full of debris, have inadequate flow, or require extensive cleanup and/or chemicals prior to becoming operational, we recommend a Full Drain & Clean
The Full Drain & Clean Service consists of draining existing water from the pool, cleaning out all debris & pressure washing all interior surfaces. Prices start at $800. Cost varies depending on the size of the pool and the amount of debris.
Black pools, which have typically gone untreated for a year or longer, are an environmental and biological hazard, so specific protocols and safety equipment are required for professional remediation and are priced accordingly.
Any recommendations beyond the standard pool opening will be communicated in writing via email and must be approved prior to continuation.
